Rebecca Peck is recognized at the 2021 Absolutely Gospel Music Awards as Songwriter of the Year.

Rebecca Peck and co-writer, Dianne Wilkinson, are recognized at the 2021 Absolutely Gospel Music Awards. Their song, “Those Same Hands” (made popular by Gold City), was honored as Song of the Year.

Rebecca Peck is once again recognized at the AGM Awards as Songwriter of the Year.

Rebecca Peck has been awarded on three separate occasion by Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) for songs that have received some of the highest airplay in their genre.

When the space shuttle Columbia exploded on February 1, 2003 there were some wonderful Christian people on board.  One of those was Col. Rick Husband.  Col. Rick Husband was an active choir member at his church in Texas.  Not long before the shuttle’s departure, his choir made a recording of many popular worship songs.  The recording also featured one new song entitled “Breath of the Spirit,” written by Rebecca Peck.  Col. Rick Husband took the CD on board with him to play for the crew (he was a featured soloist on the recording).  After the incoming shuttle exploded, the CD was found in the yard of a Texan.  Though the front was charred, the back was clearly readable.  Some of the last music the astronauts heard before entering eternity was worship music to God.

Rebecca Peck is recognized at the 2015 AGM Awards as Songwriter of the Year.

Rebecca Peck’s song His Life For Mine (made popular by The Talley Trio) was named Song of the Year at the 2005 SGMG Harmony Honors.

Rebecca Peck received highest honors at the 2015 AGM Awards held near Nashville, TN. Rebecca was honored with the prestigious Susan Unthank Award.

The song “Even In The Valley written by Rebecca J. Peck and Amy Marie Zika was named the #1 Song of the Year by the Singing News Magazine. We would like to thank The Whisnants for an incredible performance of this song.
